RM of Moose Jaw’s story
The Rural Municipality of Moose Jaw No. 161 was incorporated as a rural municipality on December 11, 1911. It lies in the south-central part of Saskatchewan and wraps around the city of Moose Jaw.
Within its boundaries are the village of Tuxford and the unincorporated localities of Boharm and Bushell Park. Today the RM is run by an elected council and an appointed administrator, who meet on the second Tuesday of each month. The municipal office is in Moose Jaw.
